My name is Yemithsu, and Roots & Ether is the living, breathing manifestation of my life’s work—a tapestry woven from the threads of sacred science, intuitive art, and deep, earthly reverence. It is both my offering and my calling.

 

Rooted in Wisdom, Connected to Spirit

The name “Roots & Ether” speaks to the core of this practice. The Roots represent everything that grounds us: the physical body, the healing power of plants, the ancient traditions passed down through generations, and the tangible, textural world we can touch and feel. The Ether is that which connects us all: the subtle energy, the spiritual intuition, the unseen currents that guide healing and intention.

 

This is the balance I bring to every product and service. It is the balance of a licensed cosmetologist and massage therapist who is also a dedicated student of Traditional Chinese Medicine, walking the path to become a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. It is the precision of a **Sisterlocks practitioner** intertwined with the channeled energy of a Reiki and tarot reader.

 

The Alchemy of Handcrafted Healing

 

Every product you find here is born from my hands and my heart. I am the sole alchemist behind small, intentional batches of healing butters, spiritual body washes, nutrient-rich mud masks, and therapeutic soak mixes. I believe that what we put on our bodies is as important as what we put in them, which is why I create everything from scratch, infusing each formulation with a healer’s knowledge and a sensitive’s energy.

 

You will notice our products are packaged in **protective UV black glass**. This is a deliberate choice, not just an aesthetic one. It ensures the vibrational integrity and potency of the botanicals and intentions within are preserved, just as they are in my apothecary.

 

Our unique **tapered candles**, crafted with bayberry for abundance or rice bran for clarity, are made with the same focused intent. They are not merely sources of light, but tools for ritual and transformation.
